Feed the Beast are a new East London-based band boasting big hooks, a massive contemporary rock/indie crunch sound and soul-shattering vocals courtesy of secret weapon vocalist Rhian Sherlynne.Feed the Beast combine influences as far-ranging as
Led Zeppelin, Audioslave, Janis Joplin, Fear Factory
and Etta James to create their unique signature sound.
One of their many strengths is the quality of their
original songwriting, with Rhian able to move
from the emotive tones of a Kate Bush to
the howl of a Plant/Joplin with complete ease.
With huge memorable hooks; sexy but
intelligent lyrics and giant stage presence,
Feed the Beast’s commercial potential is assured.Rhian is already well known in music industry
circles, having worked with Pink Floyd,
James & PJ Harvey amongst many others.
She made a significant impact with her
Manchester-based band before
relocating to London and co-founding
Feed the Beast and this new
writing partnership with guitarist Elly.David Korosztos was born in 1981 in a small Hungarian town called Szekszard in southern Hungary.His love for music started at an early age.He formed his first band Warpath in 1998 with a couple of friends.Playing extreme metal music, they supported well known Hungarian bands such as Ektomorf on many tours.In 2007 he met on an audition Rhian Sherlynne singer-songwriter and Mark Etherington guitarist-songwriter.After getting Darren Mackayd on the bass, they formed Feed The Beast!In the past year they played gigs all over London.In 2008 they recorded a demo CD in a search for a record deal.Currently David is student of the well known Dums&Percussion School,DRUMTECH in Southwest London.
Feed the Beast will make a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s next Bollywood blockbuster, ‘London Dreams’.
Feed the Beast were chosen ahead of hundreds of other London bands by the director and film company Headstart Films Ltd.
