The Early Strike

THE EARLY STRIKE
The Early Strike was born in San Antonio, Texas about one year ago. The Pop Punk power trio consist of three very unique members that all have the same influence of music. With sweet melodic dual vocals that harmonize perfect, rocking guitars that bite like no other, bass that will keep your chest thumping all night and drums that kick and are out of this world you won’t be able to stop listening!!!
The band started about one year ago when RyAn and Britt met each other at a small venue in San Antonio, Texas called Café Revolution. It was a random show and well as soon as RyAn walked into the same room as Britt spotlights shined on both of them and they couldn’t help but notice each other. People call it Love at first sight, but I think it was meant to be. So they went on and started searching for different members to be a part of a band that didn’t have a name yet. They came across and played with 4 different drummers, 2 bassist and 5 guitarists before they realized that it wasn’t going to work. Then, RyAn and Britt went back to the drawing board where they came up with the band name “The Early Strike” which was named after the game bowling that RyAn & Britt both love. It also had to do with..uh...just forget it the name just sounds cool ok? Is that enough for the name? Back to the story, RyAn and Britt then began to look everywhere for a drummer that was into the same music and influences as them. After a long hard 4 months of reviews, searches and castings they found Scott on myspace. The first message he ever got from RyAn and Britt said, “Do you play drums?” Came to find out Scott did play drums and he was located in London. The funny thing about Scott is that IF you ever meet him he is more AMERICAN then you will EVER be!!! No Joke. He was very interested in the project and was flown to America for tryouts and passed the sections and became the missing third member of The Early Strike!!!
Over the past year, The Early Strike has appeared and done several things in America. They have recorded a live video session on www.rehearsals.com and a complete interview in Los Angeles, CA. Toured to California, Texas and Florida playing various venues and bars including the Kat Club and Molly Malone’s. RyAn and Britt from The Early Strike own a clothing company called One Way Clothing and design and produce all the artwork on their own. The Early Strike released their first demo called POOP in December 2006 (With a different drummer). Then, in July of 2007 The Early Strike released their self-titled album The Early Strike.
