It was on a delightfully intoxicating evening in mid-June 2005 that eventually led to the formation of the collective of young noisemakers known as "Lesbian Manatee". Call it fate, call it synchronicity, call it love or call it a drunken fall down the steps that resulted in several broken bones; no matter what you call it, the fact remains Thomas Benfield and Sean Traynor met each other in mid-June 2005 at Cait Turner's house in Southampton, PA. Flash forward to 2007, Tom and Sean combined their love of ear shattering clatter, added a few members here and there and decided to change their name. The rest as they say is history...I guess.
