Candie Cramer studied Flute "Performance" at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where she studied with the Legendary Flute proffessor "Robert Willoughby".Candie won the Senior Concerto Competition in the Fall of 1984,performing the Ibert Flute Concerto.Prior to attending Oberlin,Candie studied privately with Timothy Day in Baltimore.Ms.Cramer was "Invited"by Larry Newland,Music Director of the Harrisburg Symphony to play the Opening Subscription Concerts in October 1992,as "Acting Principal"Flute.Candie has Performed as a "Participant" in the Masterclasses of Bonita Boyd,Bernard Goldberg,the "Late" Murray Panitz,the "Late" Julius Baker,Jeffrey Kahner,Jeanne Baxtresser.
