The War of the Words is an ultimate artist competition we are in
search of some of the best independent musicians and artists
throughout the world; here are the categories that prizes will be

The War of the Words will be having many smaller events (West Coast
and Chicago tour) throughout the year to build up momentum for the
Seattle finals August 25-26, 2006 @ a location (TBA). The main
purpose of the tour will be to make the plight of underrepresented
communities visible to those in political positions of power (view
cities below). The events are as follows: (1)The War of the Words 5
city West Coast Preliminary Tour (2)The War of the Words Chicago
Prelims (3)The War of the Words Seattle finals kickoff and Block
Party See attached schedule for more details.
The War of the Words Block Party will be filled with educational and
emergency preparedness workshops, artist showcases, entertainment,
community resource linkage. There will be many booths, vendors,
speakers and entertainers from all artistic genres. People will be
encouraged to voice their opinions in video confessionals or through
survey; copies will be mailed to city and government officials. To
