About Me

Insipid Tomatoes. That's where this started, perhaps. I played drums almost adequately for the Insipid Tomatoes in the early nineties (You can still here the missed beats, poor rolls & ever-quickening timing in my current music). Ah, to be young and productive again...I had jaw surgery when I was 18 or 19. They broke both sides of my lower jawbone, took 10 cm of bone out, and reattached my chin with 6 titanium screws. Cool, huh? I couldn't play drums for awhile after that. I enjoyed prescription painkillers, or, no, I thank God for prescription painkillers, and picked up a guitar... well, the rest is history. Seriously, though. I just picked up the guitar and started playing it as if I knew how. I wrote a few songs, and the Tomatoes played them. How cool is that? The Insipid Tomatoes broke up when we grew up. HA! I'm just kidding. We haven't grown at all -- just experienced new things in life. In fact, I'd say we're in the same hiatus as Sebadoh or Pavement. Yeah, really. So, this Tascam Porta-01. The procurement of this device was the single most important thing in my life. I was playing all the instruments, you know, like, my brother's acoustic guitar and some drums my dad's blues band used to practice with. Well, actually, I didn't touch the drums unless I was recording. It's pretty obvious if you listen to my recordings.Long story short: Mansfield, 4-track, hundreds of amazing songs, marriage, Medina, Garfield Heights, decent job, not very many songs at all.I'll post some more on my bio at a later time. Or, you could just ask me directly.

It’s 90 degrees

and I'm sick.  There's a new song, "Lover," that replaces "Run Away."  I just couldn't stand the sound quality as an mp3.
