I like to go to shows, play shows, and promote the local band scene. I live for metal, and will die metal. I'm hosting my own metal tv show on comcast cable access, THE METAL CYNDICATE, where I'll be playing awesome metal videos, interviewing bands- both local and worldwide, along with anything and everything having to do with hard rock and metal and promoting the scene. My name literally translated means: Goddess of the Moon-Year-Hunter, and Cindy means: Bringer of Light. I was in 2 metal bands before INABLACKOUT, Suicide Dream on and off from 98 to June 07 and Hellborn from June 07 to April 08, and joined InABlackout in the summer of 2008, writing vocals and lyrics. All my hopes are coming true with InABlackout! We've done one tv appearance, and we have record labels contacting us! Woo hoo! You can see some of the tv show on YOUTUBE... We just finished a demo, and it ROCKS!! I was lead on two of Suicide Dream's self-produced cd's, one of which won two out of three rounds on the Sony rocksolid pressure internet radio contest, and played keyboards for them. I developed a new side of my voice and style with Hellborn. I recorded a cd in the studio with Hellborn on which I made up the vocal harmonies on the spot. Hellborn implemented a totally different texture than Suicide Dream. Those who know me know I was not satisfied with the vocals on any of the cd's I did, but those cd's achievements speak for themselves. I always strive to be and give the best of my gift. I'm writing a mega-series, I'm a vol. firefighter, I'm a maker of herbal medicines. I hate bullsh*t and drama, and do all I can to keep it at a minimum in my life. I like to collect books and rocks, work with horses, landscape, ski, write music, go outside and run around free... I don't know. I don't need much, and don't want much more. A clear mind and conscience, and my family and loved ones are the most valuable things to me. I value peace and quiet, except when I'm on stage, then I'm a screamin' demon and a wailin' angel. I love to read, and study the sciences and theologies; what else? I study martial arts, mainly Jeet Kune Do with my sensei David Cole, who calls me his top student. I am an Aries sun, Cancer moon, Cancer rising, with aries and cancer split in half for all my planets- which, strangely, were all lined up perfectly at the moment of my birth- thus my self comparison to steam; they are the cardinal fire and water signs. I value balance. blah, blah, blah. I don't put too much worth in words. I forgive but never forget. I despise violence, and needless suffering. I am analytical, and have good insight. I am a warrior and a healer. I hold people to their word, and try to keep mine. I value honor, self discipline, and integrity. what else do you need to know that I could possibly say here? Blah blah blah. Words are cheap. meet me and you'll get to know me over time. that's the only way. So what is the point to this whole shmiel? I'd rather look someone in the eyes, and have them be able to look in mine. That tells me more than words can. I describe myself as down to earth, hard to shake, and strong souled. I don't let anything keep me down for long. I am not a feminist, but a soulist, I believe people should live up to their own standards and be true to themselves. Enough said.
