About Me

Sticky bench is a DJ/producer of Techno. You will find him playing records at DOJI, BWPT & KRANKENHAUS parties. (Live sets to come when he gets his ass in gear!) He started playing records in 1998 at Atomic and Tribal Misfits free parties in the Northamptonshire area. He also played as a resident at the Roadmender in Northampton for a summer at a night called Techno Tea Party but he knew BWPT/DOJI were the the right rigs for his sound and taste in dance music. After getting into Trance and House at first he went to his first Ugly funk night in Leicester in 1999 and was instantly bitten by the Techno bug. Neil then started listening to and playing records by Djs and producers that played at Ugly Funk nights. He then met Dj wot (Nick B.W.P.T./ Da Giva) at a Krunch free party and Dj Wot started mailing him Live sets and mixes. Neil lost contact with Nick and the BWPT Crew for a couple of years but found the website in 2004 and went to the free parties in Leicester before getting a chance to play for DOJI/BWPT on new years eve 2004/5. Sticky bench has now been making his own tracks for nearly two years he started off with a 303 but now has a couple of korgs and is pondering playing his live set out. It took Neil this long to finally get the sounds he's been looking for but he's got to get his music onto mp3 before he can post them on this page. He understands that this not a hard thing to do but when you're as skint as he is believe me it is! Peace.
