About Me

JyNX began as a group of young friends from the suburbs of Atlanta who shared a passion for worthwhile music. Now in their early twenties, they've managed to maintain an all-for-one-one-for-all mentality that developed in their teenage years. Primarily an alternative rock band, their eight years of songwriting and performance experience has given way to an eclectic mix of influences and styles, including funk, fusion, and a touch of soul.Backed by Atlanta Institute of Music graduate David Puett, and Clayton State University graduate of music Patrick Thompson, JyNXs arsenal of live material will leave rock music connoisseurs with a thirst for more. They are a versatile band that can play to any occasion, having an all acoustic set for a more relaxed environment. JyNX has packed several music venues in the Atlanta area including The Alamo, Jekyll N Hyde, The Last Great Watering Hole, The Red Light Cafe, The Somber Reptile, Club 513, Breakers, Cambridge Coffee, The Strand, and The Hangar.
**Patrick and David currently teach music at Musicology in Newnan, GA**

JyNX is currently working with the guys from THE REMEDY as a cover band - be sure to check them out below.
JyNX is also available to play for banquets, dinners, receptions, etc. They can play acoustic or electric, whatever is preferred. For an extra fee, JyNX can also provide the PA system if there is not one available. Please email: [email protected]
