THE FALLEN WITHIN "A Shade Of Eternal"The FALLEN WITHIN is a band coming up from Greece, created in 2003 by Gio S. The group belongs to the genre of melodic death metal influenced mainly by the Swedish scene, having also thrash, progressive, oriental and many other elements.
The FALLEN WITHIN began as a 3-membered band in 2003, but now we have 6 full members:November of 2003 was the month when we recorded our first demo-cd “The Conqueror Worm†which included 2 songs. One of them (Fossilized) has been part of Metal Ostentation Vol.8 released by Enclave Records. In July of 2005 we decided to record a new promo-cd of 3 songs taking much care to orchestration and especially the production which was made by Mark Adrian. After 5 months on December of 2005 we began to record with Mark Adrian on production, our first full length album in order to succeed a deal with a label. We started to work in studio from March till September of 2006 which was the month when we finished mix and mastering. Also we have to mention an important co-operation for us, this of Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND), one of the greatest keyboard players worldwide who played a solo for the song “A Shade of Eternalâ€. We managed to move step by step without hurry, so we thought that it was very important for us to have as a band our own video clip. So we decided to make a video with good quality for the song “A Shade of Eternal†under the direction of Bob Katsionis. The result I think was very good.
In June 6th The FALLEN WITHIN signed with BURNING STAR RECORDS and soon they will be able to announce officially the date of release.
