Hey my people welcome & thanks for being here :-)
So, a little about me, born and raised in Perth city, Australia. Did all the usual things, school, was a dancer, went to uni and qualified as a Medical Imaging Technologist in 2004. But always and forever, there has been and always will be God & music. I was raised in a VERY muscial family both sides. When I was but a small child and mum used to put on all her favorite vinyls I would always be the 'back up singer' and harmonies were the first things I sang even before a straight melody! Mum played many records, but the first one I ever heard, and it stuck in my mind, was the great..Whitney Houston.
I'm influenced by soul, funk and jazz. Jazz is what I grew up listening too from straight standards to more complex material.
I've been lucky to always be surrounded by musical people. I went to school with and befriended singer Che'nelle who is now signed to a major label and living in New York city. We were always singing together and after graduating high-school we were lead singers together in Perth band, Word of Mouth who I continue to work with. I've also collaborated with Hans Fiance ("Could It Be"), Bsyde, Siki Daha and am currently doing ongoing recording/producing work with ex Easybeats keyboardist, Eugene Mueller. I write and produce myself too and have many of my own tracks.
