Writing, wandering, drawing, scrabbling, judging everyone (myself the harshest),long car rides with good tunes, long nights out with great friends and not so great alcohol, animals wearing tiny versions of people clothes, nights of wild relentless introspection, dancing poorly, and fishpens.
DISCLAIMER: Now, I don't have particularly high standards, but if you choose to message me, please make an effort to write like an adult. I don't respond to people who can't fully type out the word "you". And I especially don't respond to people who address me as "Ma" or "ShOrTi". I don't know what part of my profile is leading people to believe that I'm mad ghetto, but I'm not. At least not MySpatially.Okay, that being said, I wouldn't mind meeting people who share my severe disdain for dramatics and dramatic people. Life is too multi-faceted and complicated to add even more theatrics. I'd really like to meet you if you can make me laugh.
I've fallen so far behind with my music. I'm not up with what you kids are listening to. But I adore music more than almost anything in this world. When done properly, music's evocative capabilities are comparable to nothing. Hell, even a lot of shitty music is stellar to dance to.I'll specify some: Michael Jackson, Weezer, John Mayer, Hall & Oates, Foreigner, Toto, Journey,Death Cab For Cutie, Bloc Party, Arcade Fire, Denison Witmer, The Decenberists, Andrew Bird, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Man Man, Les Savy Fav, The Knife, The Klaxons, Death From Above 1979, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Pixies, The Smiths, Rilo Kiley, Pavement, Editors, Bonde Do Role, The Go! Team, Cursive, Midlake, John Vanderslice, Broken Social Scene, The Shins, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Architecture in Helsinki, !!!, Ben Folds (Five), Flight of the Conchords, Spoon, other stuff.
I don't watch a lot of movies. I've been largely underwhelmed thus far. I'm always open for recommendations, though.
The Office, The Best Years, Degrassi, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and infomercials.
"The Catcher in the Rye" Pretty much any Fitzgerald. "Sex, Drugs, & Cocoa Puffs" "The Autobiography of Malcom X" "Life After God" "Atlas Shrugged"
I've none.
