Joshua De'Von Peters-Smith
Prophet, Teacher, Mentor, Author, Musician and Conference Host, Joshua Peters Smith has been described as "an unusual man with an unusual anointing". As a leader in the Joshua Generation, he is a highly sought after speaker and musician who has spent most of his life devoted to the work of the ministry, letting no man despise his youth. His passion in life and ministry is helping people to reach their destiny and full potential.
Not a novice, Prophet Joshua has over 10 years of ministerial experience serving in such capacities as minister of music, Sunday school teacher and youth ministry worker. Prophet Joshua was called to preach at the age of 16 and became a licensed minister in the Lord’s church in November 2003 at the age of 18.
Prophet Joshua is currently submitted under the spiritual leadership and authority of Apostle Otis & Elect Lady Debra Rankin, pastors of First United Gospel Assembly in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he currently serves Minister of Music and a member of the Prophetic Council. Under their leadership, he has become and is becoming a skilled and anointed orator, teacher, and prophet.
Prophet Joshua is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Liberty University. He is also a graduate of the F.U.G.A. School of Ministry where he received a Certificate of Ministry.
Prophet Joshua is the Founder and President of Joshua Smith Ministries, Inc., formerly known as "Prophetic Flow Ministries". JSM is a multi-faceted itinerant, evangelistic ministry called and commissioned by God to proclaim the prophetic oracles of God to nations (Jeremiah 1:5).
His desire in ministry is to have accuracy in prophecy (Jeremiah 23:18) and to see the demonstration of the power of God in the lives of believers and unbelievers alike (1 Corinthians 2:4). His preaching and teaching will incite, encourage and provoke you to live your life with destiny and purpose while pursuing a deeper relationship with Christ.
HISTORY
After a "mountain-top" experience with God at the 2006 Threshing Floor Revival hosted by Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Min. Joshua Peters Smith answered the call and officially gave God a COMPLETE "Yes" in an area where he had been previously saying "no"--the Gospel preaching ministry! It was during this time that the Holy Spirit inpregnanted him with the vision for Prophetic Flow Ministries. Since this time, he has been traveling and ministering in an attempt to please the Lord and fulfill all of his will for his life and this ministry.
Prophetic Flow Ministries is not about personality or celebrity, but as the Apostle Paul stated, it is about the demonstration of the power of God in the lives of believers and unbelievers alike.
In late 2008, the name of the ministry was officially changed from "Prophetic Flow Ministries" to "Joshua Smith Ministries".
