About Me

My name is Melissa, I am married and have two teenagers. My daughter just recently graduated from High School and turned 18. I am very very proud of her. My son is almost 17 and will graduate in 2008. I am also very proud of him. I have been blessed with two wonderful children. They are really great , especially for the ages they are. My husband Tom and I have been together for 20 years, and I love him more then he will ever know. He is a great husband and a great dad too. we have a dog and a cat, both of which each have only one eye. My children make fun of me for making a myspace, they say I am too old but that is not true, I am young at heart! I love to watch my kids play sports. And Tom too when he plays softball, I enjoy going to the beach and hearing the sounds of the waves and breathing in the fresh air. I also love the sound of wind chimes. I love thunder and lightening storms. My Favorite holiday is Christmas and I love to go way out when it come to decorating. I go crazy!I love Jesus and I am very greatfull for all that he has done for my family. Our God is so awesome!!I really love to eat HOT and SPICY food. And food with ALOT of garlic! My motto is " The HOTTER the better...

My Interests

I like to do arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, I enjoy cooking, I like to take pictures, I enjoy having pic nics on the beach. I also enjoy going to Church, Womens Bible study, Couples Bible study and Sunday school. It is a great place to get away and enjoy friends while praising God at the same time.

I'd like to meet:

I would hope that some day I will get to meet Jesus in heaven. I am not sure at this moment who else I would like to meet.

I like a variety of music, I like Praise and Worship music, contemerary Christian music ,and I also like music from the 70's and 80's, Mariachi Music, Latin music,

Movies:

Some of my favorite movies include: Grease, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on The Roof, The Notebook, Freedom Writers, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink,Step Up, Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, and almost any movie with Julia Roberts in it.

Television:

I enjoy watching Greys Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Cooking shows, Survivor, American Idol ( but usually only the first few and the last few episodes), Nanny 911, Super Nanny, Trading Spouses, Wife Swap & Rachel Ray. I also love to watch Joel Osteen preech on TV.And I love Wheel of Fortune!LOL

Books:

Magazines, cook books, my Bible, and Devotionals.

Heroes:

God!! My Mom and Dad for always being there for me and my family. My Nana because she has always been there for me too, she is the most loving, caring and compasionate person I know. Tom is also my Hero because he has always provided for our family and he is a great dad and husband. He is also a cancer survior, Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ! And lots of prayers from friends and family. My children, they keep me on my toes every day.
