Regiment is the militant industrial/powernoise project
of Portland natives Adrien Hunter and John Fahrer. Characterized
by aggressive military beats, bass driven synths, and the use of obscure
movie and newsreel samples, Regiment assaults the listener with the harsh
realities of warfare in all of its horror and glory, transforming the
dancefloor into an electronic battlefield.
The band was formed in July of 2007, drawing influence from a diverse array of pioneering artists such as Terrorfakt, Feindflug, and Converter, while seeking to create a uniquely militaristic multimedia experience.
