Bob DeVore has been building motorcycles since 1962. He successfully started showing his bikes on the "Autorama" circuit in 1968; receiving many awards. He has continued to steadily design and fabricate since then.Bob, as a young man, was heavily influenced by the likes of the great Arlen Ness, and his long time pal, Ron Finch. With many motorcycles and custom shows under his belt through the years, he has developed a style unique to him and his customer base.DEVORE CUSTOM CYCLES was established in 1985, based in Ypsilanti, MI. Gradually, after running out of work space, the decision was made to move the shop in 1988 to Brooklyn, MI, where they had room to grow. Initially, this was a part time endeavor, that has come full circle, into a full time, complete in-house shop.Bob's wife, Mona DeVore has been working by his side throughout the years, designing her own style of rides. Thayer DeVore (Bob and Mona's son) joined DEVORE CUSTOM CYCLES, officially in 2004, bringing fresh new concepts and insights into play. Thayer is currently doing all of their body work and painting. Obviously, he has come by it naturally, growing up in a custom shop. The list of awards, accreditations, and reviews are too numerous to list, but are highly impressive. A sincere thank you is extended to those in the industry for your recognition and encouragement. Thanks to you all who have supported DEVORE CUSTOM CYCLES through the years. Without you, friends, family, and fans, they would not be on the road that they are on now. So much gratitude is extended to those who have lent a hand along the way
