My name is Erik. Most call me "Erik With a K". I've also been called Ewok, Junior, Eeik, McGintoy, McG, McGinty, McGlickintok, Kunta, Withakay, Mr. K, Sollie, and other crazy things. I am a metalhead. I like Thrash, Death, and Heavy Metal, along with Classic Rock and other forms of Rock N Roll. I enjoy going to shows, where you can usually find me in the pit (if the music is good enough). I am a very energetic person. I'm usually bouncy and hyper. I hate standing or sitting still for long periods of time. I am athletic and love playing sports. I like going out and doing stuff with other people, but I also spend a lot of time in my room on my computer. Because of my personality, however, I get anxious and jittery when I'm at home for too long. I like to joke around and have a good time. I like trying to make other people laugh, which sometimes makes me look like a complete ass. My jokes can often be perverted and/or offensive, and some people don't like that. I'm very difficult to offend, but apparently that's not true for a lot of people. I consider myself a good friend. I will be there for a friend if they really need me. I'm a good listener. If you have anything on your mind, don't be afraid to tell me. I'm always willing to lend an ear. My biggest pet peeve is being interrupted while I'm talking, and unfortunately, it happens often. I guess that is why I've become such a good listener, since I find it rude to interrupt when someone else is talking. I'm usually kind and courteous. I find it difficult to be intentionally mean or rude to someone else. If I'm acting like a jerk, I'm almost always joking. People often take the things I say too seriously and get upset because of it. I have very strong convictions and morals, and I will fight for them and defend them until the day I die. I have been described as argumentative and stubborn, which is actually an accurate description. If I disagree with something (which happens more often than I can put into words), I'm not afraid to speak up and let someone know. I believe that everyone should drop the whole "shit happens", "life sucks, deal with it", and "grin and bear it" attitudes, and stand up for themselves.
I'm a night person. I like to stay up late, and sleep in. I prefer to go out at night. I'm definitely not a morning person. I feel like I really come alive when the sun goes down.
