ENGLISH VERSION: The Platonick Dive band was born in 2006 in the city of Livorno and they start immediately to write their own songs. They’re music is much based on alternative rock, taking most of the influences from grunge, shoegaze, indie but even attracted from psychedelic and instrumental compositions known as post-rock. With their final line-up , the band’s sound became more intimate and characterized. They begin doing live performances, around the town county and outside it as well, at the very first stage of their birth; the most important performances are at "S.Marino National Festival", "Lucca’s Music Day Festival" and the "Grape Juice Festival". During 2008 the band won the Tuscany section of the national contest named “Rock Targato Italia†and they have represented the Tuscany Region at the national finals in Milano. They have played at "Liberi e Vivi Festival" with Marlene Kuntz, one of the most important alternative-rock band in Italy. At January 2008 their first EP “Noia Astratta†debuts, the album is made of 4 previously unreleased songs, which can be listen at www.myspace.com/platonickdive and available on iTunes Music Store.
