About Me

I started listening to drum n bass in about 1999(13 years old) at first it was just to tag along with the crowd but after buying my first tape pack there was no going back, I was hooked! My passion grew along with my eagerness to be part of this music & the time came in 2002 when a close mate Rosso (aka Dj Spinbad) got hold off his first set of decks. For a couple of months I fucked about trying to mix, decided it wasn’t for me & started to mess around on the mic, for a good couple of years I never had the confidence to take it out of the bedroom & would just chat my favourite MC's lyrics, then I started to actually right lyrics & listen to the music on a deeper level. We then started putting out mix tapes along with another good mate writey (aka Dj Trema)
Then in the summer of 2005 did my first party in Leamington, nothing big but it lead to a residency at a night called 'Inersha' which ran for about 6months before lack off support saw it go under. Then in June 2006 a new night opened in my home town Banbury 'Adrenaline Rush' ran by Chameleon & Dj Venom it was runing for a year but since the closeing of confesions night club it has been put on hold whilst we sort out a venue. But it gave me the opportunity to support some of the biggest names in the business such as Nicky Blackmarket, Grooverider, Friction, Hazard, Hype, Clipz, Bryan Gee, Chase & Status, Adam F, Baron, Eksman, Bassman, Ic3, SP & Shabba. Also I have appered ..shockradio as a guest on the 'kamikaze cru' show aswell as on www.drumnbassworldwide.co.uk in London as a guest on the Dj Gunna show as well as doing private parties. More recently holding residancy at 'pulse' dope ammo's own label night in Banbury, also with 'The concrete jungle crew' based in Coventry appering on there weekly radio show (aftershock radio) aswell as there own nights and with a recent apperance at Leamingtons priemer night :stimulus: under my belt, things are starting to look promising.
I pride myself on being a versatile Mc, being able to hold it down & just roll lyrics, being able to chat double time over the more jump up styles & then on the flipside just complementing the Dj. I change my style depending on the Dj, Crowd, Venue & even the system. I like to emphasize how important it is to appreciate all styles of dnb no matter the sub-genre it falls into...From Hospital to Hardware, From Ram to Radius & everything in between! The tunes come first im only there to complement it. Not enough Mc's realise this!!!
Things have been put on hold for the minute as I am working & living in New Zealand. I would like the oppurtinity to make a contribution to the scene 'down under' so if theres any local promoters/producers passing threw, please get in touch...
