You Know you're from Bowie when:You pronounce it BOO-wie not BOW-ie.You were on at least ONE Bowie Boys and Girls Club team!You remember when Market Place was the SHIT. (don't fake like you didn't LOVE Sportland and you could take your date to a $4 movie)You know that the Belair Mansion is haunted for a fact!You believe in the goatman...You have visited the Glenndale hospital...You know about cry baby bridge... and have visited there at least once.You got out of school 4 times a month for fire alarms going off or bomb threats, and you always knew who did it.You pimped your Honda... or Toyota... or Moms old station Wagon... cuz no one really had money.You started drinking when you were 13.You were a "student aide" your Junior AND senior year - just because you knew you could leave school earily and it was an easy A.You had to wear a bullet proof vest to Middle School just incase ...Your high school was so overcrowded they moved half your school to an old rundown middle/elementry school or you had over 20 temporary classrooms...You rememeber when the Bowie Town Center wasn't there, or the Target, or the Regal Movie theatre.You remember when Mt.Oak was cooler then cool.You went through either a ghetto or skater phase in middle or high school...Your homecoming is more like going to a night club not a high school dance... and teen night was the best thing that ever happened to "sevies."Poms ARE better/prettier/and more talented than the cheerleaders.Homecoming is the only football game you went to ... unless is was the year we won states... YEAH 02!You're principle/vice principle/or superintendant has a drug problem... and so do some of your teachers.You can remember when Freestate mall was good and you are convinced that Happy Italian was run by the mofia!! Mr. Joe was the tightest drunk restaurant owner you knew.There is a 7-11 and McDonalds every 3 miles.You went to at least one birthday party at Skate Zone!Old Bowie is our historical town.You know there is major compition between BBT, BSR and Whitehall swimteams... watch outYou think Laurel isnt ghetto.You go to Allens Pond every year for 4th of July... and still do.You smoked a lot of pot with parents... being your own or someone else's.You will never ever go back to the Bowie Health Center ever again... ever.You had a season pass to Wild world/Adventure world/six flags every year... until...Outback is your favorite resturant.You know what Magruders is.You've stolen at least ONE thing from TJMAXX at Hilltop plaza.You knew at least 4 people who got pregnant in high school.You know exactly where Langways is.You refer to where you live in sections... The K section, the B section, etc.You can out drink any of your friends in college!You throw the best parties and have the best taste in music, beer, expensive liquor, drugs, & cars!!!You remember the "Hilltop Crew" (the original one bitches!!!)
