I am the daughter of Elrond Halfelven and Celebrian, the daughter of Galadriel. I was born in the year 241 of the Third Age in my father's realm of Rivendell. Often it is said that I am in the resemblance of the elf maiden Luthien Tinuviel and that she return to Middle-earth through me. Eventually I would share the same fate as my forebear, for as one of the children of the halfelven I was given the choice to remain in Middle-earth and die as a mortal or sail to the Undying Lands with all that was left of my kin. And when I feel in love with the heir of Isildur, Elessar the elfstone, while I was dwelling with my mother's kin in Lothlorien, I made the choice of remaining to diminish as a mortal. Though in my life I was made queen of Gondor and bore many daughters and a son Eldarion who would become heir to the throne.
