Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1991, it was likely that David Gibson would get into music. Detroit is mostly known for introducing the world to MOTOWN, in the 1960's and gave people the sounds of Marvin Gaye, The Surpremes, The Five Heartbeats, The 4 Tops, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Steve Wonder, and many more... Now it David Gibson's time David has been singing since he was 13 years old and has done many things to get his self noticed for his musical talent. He started off singing in his High School Talent Shows, then later he moved to Washington DC when he was 16 years old. During this transition from a new city, he was introduced to a new type of music called Go-Go. He liked it so much that he jointed a famous band called ALL-STARZ, later he played for another band called RENEGADES. After 4 months of trying Go-Go, David decided Go-Go was not for him, and stuck with his R&B career. When David was in a band he got a lot of exposure through out the DMV, but out of the picture nothing was happening. Thats when David became a member of FLY PROMOTIONS. This promotion team throws parties all over the DMV and David thought it would be a good opportunity to get his face out there for his music. Sadly, David Gibson had to distance his self from the organization, because it was damaging his name (one member of Fly Promotions had a bad rep among people David associated and did business with) After leaving FLY PROMOTIONS, David Gibson, along with, Randy (Mr. Swagg), created a new promotion team, TALK BUSINESS PROMOTION (founded October of 2008). Already, this enterprise has had a couple successful parties, and they are teaming up with various of Entertainment companies in the District. Be sure to look out for David Gibson this year, because he is in the process of doing a couple of tracks with known DC rap artist and producers.
