JOINT HEIR MUSIC STUDIOS

JOINT HEIR MUSIC STUDIOS was founded by DEBRA L. PERRY/CEO/ENGINEER and co-partner GERALD D. PERRY/ PRODUCTION MANAGER/ENGINEER. Together the brother and sister team started the studio in her basement in 2000. With a small purchase of a digital recorder called the ROLAND VS 880, they produced their first project called DEBRA PERRY AND MAJESTIC PRAISE titled "FOREVER HE REIGNS". It was a challenge working with the 8-track digital recorder because you had to constantly mix and bounce in order to add more tracks, but they maximized it’s fullest potential.A matter of fact, one of the songs( NO NOT ONE) made it on JOHN P. KEE’S new artist showcase project which was a part of VERITY RECORDS.The project was released at GMWA and had much success across the air waves.Later, JOINT HEIR had to relocated to another facility due to neighbor complaints of late night mixing, loud drums, keyboards,guitars,singing and believe it or not a live horn section all in the basement of Debra’s house.This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because it opened up the door for God to do something greater.In 2004, Joint Heir had to move up in order to compete with other studios, they moved up to the DIGITAL PERFORMER recording software along with a MAC G4 computer and the TASCAM DM-24 automated mixing console. In August of 2005,business owner Jeremiah White offered JOINT HEIR STUDIOS to unite with his business and renovated an old building at 1258 Madison in Grand Rapids, Mi.They were blessed with the opportunity to have a section of the building to be artistically designed the way they wanted it to be, and not having to aquire much cost.JOINT HEIR STUDIOS then became a STATE-OF -THE -ARTS facility,fully equiped with beautiful,colorful walls,large control room,office,waiting room,storage room, and spacious recording area for large groups,choirs,etc.We presently are using PROTOOLS 7.3, G4 and G5 computers,TASCAM DM-24 allow us to record 18 tracks simualtaneuosly, and 48 track playback, unlimited track recordingUNIVERSAL AUDIO LA 610,FOCUSRITE PRE-AMP,DIGI 002 RACK, MOTIF RACK,MOTU 2408,MANY KEYBOARDS,DRUMS,LARGE SELECTION OF GUITARS,AND ETC.We are currently working on a solo project for Carolyn Quinn to be released in the fall of 2007 and Debra Perry and Majestic Praise’s sophomore project to be release by spring of 2008.
