SSG Marvin Ross Sprayberry III. enlisted in the U.S. Army in July, 1997 and attended Basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.After completion he attended 63T AIT at Fort Knox, Kentucky.He was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck Germany in January 1998. He further assigned to HHC, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment as a Bradley Vehicle System Mechanic.Marvin spent one six-month tour in Kosovo in December, 1999- June 2000.Married his wife Nadja on December 22, 2000.He left for Iraq on February 13, 2004Passed away on May 03, 2004 at the age of 24.
