Matt Splat ** Friends don't let friends skate like a PUSSY !!

About Me

I grew up in California, skateboarding since I was 5. As a child I grew up in Orange County, La Habra and Fullerton. As a teenager, we had moved to Fresno, CA. Skateboarding became my savior by now and the Dogtown crew was a heavy influence on our skating. By my early 20's I had moved back to southern California, ultimately landing in Mission Beach, San Diego. There I started to meet every skater I read about in the magazines. I got hooked up a bit, made my mark in skateboarding by getting in Gullwing Trucks' first video, Molecules in Motion, and doing demos and contests. I skate, surf, snowboard and wakeboard. Irie most of the time. I like road trippin to different skateparks around the Pacific Northwest and meeting new people. I'm married to a wonderful gal and we have a beautiful little girl. After I work, I like to play, usually at our skatepark or on the lake when it's too hot to skate. I snowboard in the winter months, as the ski mountain is only 20 minutes out my door. I like a good party as long as I don't have to drive. You can go to www.thrashermagazine.com and check out the "Mo Montana" article or to www.slapmagazine.com and check "Montana Maruaders". .. ..

My Interests

Skateboarding, Punk rock, Hot VW's Snowboarding and taking road trips. It always fun to hit other cities or towns and meet the locals. I like to dabble with photography, especially skate photos. Television:

South Park is pure comedy. Chopper builders are "cool", and I want my car "Overhauled". X-Games are OVERRATED, but Tony's 900 made me cry.

Books:

I consider Thrasher Magazine to be the Bible and the only thing anyone should read...with the exception of a Slap Magazine.
