Animation —
I am huge Hiyao Miyazaki fan. My first encounter with Miyazaki's work was seeing Laputa at an AnimeUTA showing some time in 1997, and it has been my favorite movie since.
I was a big fan of the Powerpuff Girls when it was on the air. At the moment I mostly watch One Piece and Bleach. I'm not really too enthusiastic about the American dubbed version of One Piece, so I've been sticking with the subtitled episodes, which are quite a bit further in the story line anyhow.
Art — I've always been big on arts & crafts. Mostly textile arts & drawing with any kind of dry media. Ocassionally I paint and make feeble attempts at sculpture.
Web design — I have a personal website; I co-own a website with a small community of artists mostly in their teens and twenties; I also have another small game-specific community that is now maintained mostly by other users... plus bits and pieces of other things scattered across the internet. I have a plethora of ideas that I just simply haven't been able to make time for.
I like to make things beautiful, well-organized and intuitive. I enjoy going pixel by pixel to make things just right. Creating a fully functional website with a flawless user interface is pure joy.
Dance — I grew up taking ballet classes, and I tap-danced for a year or two as well. In college I learned ballroom dancing, but I've fallen terribly out of practice. I'm eagerly anticipating an oppurtunity to change my work schedule so I can take ballroom dancing classes again.
Hockey — I love the Philadelpha Flyers & the Dallas Stars.
Politics — I am a big fat flaming liberal. I'm big on civil rights (most especially religious freedom), animal rights, abortion rights.
Video Games — Tetris, Bubble Bobble, Puzzle Bobble, Katamari Damacy, Soul Calibur, DDR, Bust-A-Move, Super Princess Peach, Loco Roco, Elebits, pretty much any puzzle game ever.
I like to meet new people. Say hi.
Dallas musicians are among my favorites, and I love live music in small venues.

I don't read particularly often, I don't have any favorites. Most recently I've read 1984 and Howl's Moving Castle, they were both fantastic. I generally prefer non-fiction, short stories & fairy tales.
