I am here for Friends

About Me

I am 18 years old and in high school. I love to write and listen to music. I also love reading and playing video games. I am currently in 12th grade.
I tend to think for my sense of humor as dry, sarcastic, and a bit silly. Either you fancy me hilarious, or an annoying mental patient. I like coming up with unique combinations of words as well.
There is nothing wrong with being called weird or eccentric. As a matter of fact, I take it as a compliment.
Music is the single most important thing in my life right now. I write (See Mercury in my friends list) and listen to music on an almost constant basis.
"There's nothing to mourn about death any more than there is to mourn about the growing of a flower. What is terrible is not death but the lives people live or don't live up until their death. They don't honor their own lives, they piss on their lives. They shit them away. Dumb fuckers. They concentrate too much on fucking, movies, money, family, fucking. Their minds are full of cotton. They swallow God without thinking, they swallow country without thinking. Soon they forget how to think, they let others think for them. Their brains are stuffed with cotton. They look ugly, they talk ugly, they walk ugly. Play them the great music of the centuries and they can't hear it. Most people's deaths are a sham. There's nothing left to die."
"We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't.We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing."
- Charles Bukowski
"This sort of behavior is left to the psychotic, dogmatic, fundamentalist believers you see on your TV everyday letting off bombs and killing people in the name of God. Beliefs are dangerous. Beliefs allow the mind to stop functioning. A non-functioning mind is clinically dead. Believe in nothing."
- Maynard James Keenan (Lead singer of Tool)
“If you don't think drugs have done good things for us, then take all of your records, tapes and CD's and burn them.”
- Bill Hicks
"The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we kill those people."
- Bill Hicks
"So crucify the ego, before it's far too late
To leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical,
And you will come to find that we are all one mind
Capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.
Just let the light touch you
And let the words spill through
And let them pass right through
Bringing out our hope and reason ...
before we pine away."
