THE FRIDAY NIGHT BAND

About Me

The Friday Night Band is from Cornwall.....I suppose that makes them a Cornish band, but then Steven is from Sheffield. The players are Steven Havenhand (ex Pulp person), Gary Turner, Karl Viertal & Dave Jones. The FNB rehearse in a garden shed & it is their mission to write catchy three minute pop songs but sometimes they can be as long as 4 and a half. The FNB are a pop group except when Gary & Karl decide to go metal in rehearsals, which in turn makes Steven very ill indeed. The FNB are allergic to blues workouts & 'jamming' in general so if you like 'the blues' then go away now, you are in the wrong place.

All songs are home recorded demos so apologies for the lo-fi quality. All of them are available for download so you might want to put them onto your iPod or mp3 player, or whatever. If you do download one then pass it onto a friend - ta! Thanks for visting our MySpace page, please call again. We love you, just like the Stones in '67, which got to number 8 in the UK singles chart. We got to number 7 in The Download Show chart in 2007, good eh? If you want to book The FNB for a gig then please get in touch via the message facility on this page or contact [email protected]. We are very cheap..but cheerful.
