Touring with bands such as Finch, Thrice, The Used, CKY and many others, Letter Kills are doing the road work necessary to catch flight. The organizers of the Warped Tour were so impressed that they put them on the bill for the entire 2003 Vans Warped Tour. This is all happening without an album being released. Their infectious live presence has led the way!!Letter Kills music supplies viscous riffs with unforgettable melodies that bridges a hybrid from killer 70's anthemic rock ala AC/DC and Thin Lizzy to today's no holds barred, garagy, intense hardcore sounds with memorable sing along melodies.Letter Kills are five guys that came together in early 2002 with one objective in mind... To play guitar driven rock music every day to whomever would listen. They have played every kind of show from birthday parties in their home town to clubs in the breadbasket of America.Matt Shelton provides the memorable vocals that draw you into the firefight supported by the pounding rhythms of Paul Remund on Drums and Kyle Duckworth on Bass. The dual guitar attack is supplanted by Timothy Cordova and Dustin Lovelis. Their debut EP was recorded at the world famous Indigo Ranch Studios in Malibu, California in March 2003 in a 3 day period and will be available at the band's shows and from the back of their touring trailer starting in May 2003.The band was recently signed to Island Records by Paul Pontius who's resume includes the signings of Korn, Incubus and Hoobastank among others. The band's Debut EP features three tracks and a self shot home movie that the band filmed during tours and recording. Tracks from the EP are the anthemic "Don't Believe", The catchy "Radio Up" and the melodic a "Clock is Down".If you have a chance to catch Letter Kills live show you WILL get it!!(note: the band doesn't run this, just some fans trying to spread the word about them.)
