Aaron Roderick Gillespie
Born July 18, 1983 in clearwater, florida, was a child named Aaron Gillespie Nobody knew then that he would be part of one of the most influential Christian bands ever. Born into a Christian family, Aaron attended church often, playing drums for it. When he was 14 , he was asked by a father of an Underøath member to join the band. Ever since then,Aaron is the LAST original member still in the band, playing drums and singing as well.During the recording of Underøath's latest album,Define the Great Line, Aaron had much free time. He said in an interview that instead of sitting around gaining 20 pounds this time, he went to the gym daily, excercised vigourously, and wrote songs for the upcoming side project, The Almost. For this record, he played all the instruments, excluding bass for some parts. He now fronts this band. Currently Gillespie is on tour for the Vans 2007 Warped Tour for both bands.

-Aaron happens to be blind in one eye, and supposively colorblind the the other
-He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife since November 2006, Jamie Ann Gillespie.
-He has many, many nicknames, including Piglet, Pig, Left Eye Gillespie, and Red-Headed Cyclops.
-He says his best friend is UnderOATH screamer Spencer Chamberlain
