I'm a the mother of two boys, ages 21 and 16. Being a mom is just about my biggest commitment in life and my greatest joy. My sons are two very different people and I love them both very much. I have been divorced for many years and after awhile I guess I just couldn't imagine a step-dad trying to help me raise the boys.
Now my boys are almost grown, my oldest has moved out and will be attending Bradley in the fall. My youngest is finishing his sophomore year in high school. I know how fast those years go by and he will be leaving also.
But, God who knows all and works all for good, has given me a desire and vision to work with children. He has put in me such a heart for the children in Africa that sometimes I really want to jump ahead of His timing. Hopefully God will also work on my patience and let me get the training I need and the eyes to see His pathway for me to get there.
Until then I will carry on here doing mom stuff and enjoying it all.
