I am here for Friends

About Me

The Youngest "Old" Man that I can be! (Losing that battle).I am a native Southern Californian. Grew up in the South Bay. Had the unique experience of a 12 year Catholic Education (LMAO)! Bought my first surfboard in 1964, surfed with some of the legends of the sport who were just regular guys back then. Got interested in cars as the result of having to fix my own due to finances and the gear head mentality never left me. After High School, farted around in Junior College for a semester. No sooner did I quit school, ZAP! Got drafted... No Army for me so I joined the Navy. Quite an experience, got to go around the world with a pit stop in Vietnam. After that is was back to College, then a five year stint at TRW and then off to Hughes Aircraft Company/Raytheon since then. Evolved from an Engineering Technician to Senior Programs Manager! Only took 32 years and it is about time to call the Aerospace career over and start hanging out at JTM's Hot Rod Shop full time. BTW, I did get to do reality TV show for the Speed Channel's Chop-Cut-Rebuild Program Season III. The shop built the Royal Blue 35' Ford that is in my pictures/slide show.....Two of my most favorite non-California places are Maui and Montana and I have been to both many times. Quite a contrast!
