Qubla is a group founded in summer 2007 in Helsinki. Our original compositions are influenced by Northern European jazz, but at times you might hear shades of electroacoustic music, pop and free jazz.Even though the members of Qubla have a strong foundation in contemporary acoustic jazz (Joona Toivanen Trio, Kvalda, Oneness...), we don't want to limit our music to that, but to experiment the possibilities of electronic techniques in addition to our instruments.
