Prayin' Child Music Group was started in 2004 by Tredale L. McCullough aka Jacob Izrael. After many unsuccessful attempts to get signed to a major record label, Jacob Izrael decided it was time to release his own recordings independently. 2004 was the year he released his first Positive Urban disc titled "Inspiramental". "Inspirametnal" sold very well in the streets of Tampa Bay, over 700 copies sold in a two weeks. The Prayin' Child Music label wasn't a brand name until Jacob Izrael met 2 producers from Queens,NY by the name Dextas Lab. Dextas Lab would take the label's production to a whole different level. The following year Prayin' Child Music Group would release a single titled "Get Louder" by Jacob Izrael produced by Dextas Lab which stayed on the playlist of WBVM 90.5 Spirit FM for weeks.
After receiving their 5 minutes of fame Prayin' Child Music decided to expand their musical genre to Pop, R&B, and Techno. In fact Prayin' Child Music is scheduled to release their first ever CD Compilation titled "The Cross and the Crown" fall 2007. The Compilation features artist from all over the Country from BH Fam of Nashville, Nahledge of Philly, Sabe of Boston, Los-1 of Brooklyn NY, and many many others from the Urban Christian Genre.
