Pastor George Tonge was born in the United States Virgin Islands. He has resided in the States for almost 20 Years. During this time he has stepped forward and into what God has called him. Pastor George knew he was called from his childhood but it took him having a personal encounter with God to make a life changing decision. In 1992 Pastor Tonge surrendered all to the Lord Jesus Christ. His ministry began while he was in the Merchant Marines ministering to those he was shipping with during the Gulf War. Once he returned to the states he began ministering to young men in the housing projects compelling them to come to the Lord. Over many years he has led many side walk evangelism teams as well as hosting revival sessions as led by the Lord. He has many years of experience serving as Associate Pastor to three awesome Pastors. His first appointment was with Bishop Battles where he served with him in ministry for two years, and then God placed him at True Hope Ministries serving as the Associate Pastor for 1 year. God then placed him under the leadership of Pastor Charles Hoskins there Pastor George served faithfully for 6 years. He has worked diligently under the Leadership of each pastor and faithfully served the people of God. God is now launching him out to fulfill the calling he has on his life.Pastor George himself has experienced God in a great way and his hearts desire is to see people delivered from the power of darkness and to walk in the way that God has ordained them to walk. Seeing the power of God flow among the people of God is also a desire of Pastor George's. He would like for everyone to experience God in a way they have never before experienced.George Tonge Ministries has been anointed by God to bring sons and daughters into the Kingdom of God. Pastor Tonge has a unique anointing on his life he operates in the 5 fold ministry. A mandate has been given to him by the Spirit of the Lord to show forth His Glory with demonstrations in signs, wonders, miracles, and healings following the word of God. He has an apostolic and prophetic mantle upon his life.
