I'm a 33 year old Norwegian who likes films, music and soccer. I've spent just a few years too many at the University, which have left me with a big book collection and an even bigger loan. I used to play in a band as well, but after two concerts we retired from the tolls of fame and success in order to concentrate on the glory of working life. So now I take odd jobbs to pay the rent in stead. I like strong, dark coffee, lazy mornings and I am usually pretty laidback about things, unless I'm in a hurry or my favourite soccer team looses a match (which they tend to do far too often). I prefer brown pubs and bars for hip ones, and I like the autumn better than the spring, even though I admit summer does have its advantages. I dance like James Mason in Stanley Kubrick's Lolita, and that might be one of many explanations as to why I listen to The Smiths. A lot. I'm constantly torn between the city and the countryside, and curious naivety and cynicism. I dislike arrogant people in general and presidents who likes to bomb other nations for oil in particular. I hope there is a good God of some kind somewhere to make things right some day. I'm more introverted than outroverted, but I've noticed that these things change from minute to minute and hour to hour, and I definetively do have my impulsive moments. I like melancholy and modest people, and I dislike people with sharp elbows or too solid bone structures in their noses, if you know what I mean by that. I like summer rain and winter's snow, dark british humour, and a good soundtrack to the absurdity of modern life.
