About Me

I've been called adventurous even though I've never done anything I'd call crazy (like trust my life to a bungee cord!).
I've lived all over the country following impulses. A couple years ago I felt a pull to TX and ended up meeting the man who would soon be my husband (whom I promptly dragged back to CA). ;) Just goes to show... follow your heart!
We have a beautiful girl together who amuses me daily. I've been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom and get to see and enjoy her grow up. (Thanks baby for helping me to be able to do that!)
My husband and I run a Jeep non-club (www.jeepnight.com) and are on our local Search & Rescue team. We like to get out in the outdoors as much as possible.
I'm a returning student majoring in chemistry and beginning in the world of forensics (no I didn't get interested because of CSI, this has been a goal of mine for 10+ years now). We don't plan on staying in CA or having any more kids but as someone once told me... "Life is what happens when you're busy making plans." So for now I'm just enjoying where we are and waiting to see where life takes us.

My Interests

Jeeps, Search & Rescue, forensics (NOT CSI!!!), camping, wheeling, learning new things just to learn (crocheting, cooking, sewing, electronics, shooting, etc), gardening, traveling, playing games with friends, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Always on the look out for friends that are easy going and like to go do stuff. Being a parent is a plus.I'd love to get in touch with people I haven't seen/talked to in years. A few I can think of off the top of my head just in case someone searches their name on here... Sibel Nazikoglu, Alison Black, Jessica Wagner, anyone else from Valley Prep, Dustin & Kelly Widel, just to name a few.

Music:

Very ecclectic. Everything from oldies to metal to country.

Television:

What Not to Wear, Grey's Anatomy, Numb3rs, Good Eats. I don't watch much prime time. I like shows to educate me on something, whether that's fashion, cooking, how to build something, decorating, history, how something's made, etc. Discovery channel and TLC are pretty standard stations on my tv. Of course that's only when I get a rare chance to change it off the Disney Channel or Cops. Thank god for Tivo! ;)
