Im you're all american girl with a twist! (read til the end and you'll find out what the twist is :) I have a BEAUTIFUL family that I love with my entire heart and soul. They inspire me, and require of me (ha ha :) , bring joy to my heart and keep me in tune with whats really important in life. I have a handsome husband named Chris whom ive been married to for 8 yrs now (read my blog on "we did it"). My favorite things about Chris are his laugh lines on his eyes, his personality that is never dull and his faithfulness to provide for our family. He's a good guy! Im so proud of him and all he's accomplished in life. Have we got some stories we could tell you about how good God is and how we could never make it without HIS insight in our lives. We arnt any where near perfect, but we're shooting for the stars!! I have a gorgeous 14 yr old named Casie aka Casie Jo, Caser Racer, Ceej, CJ, Bubaloo, Bubbalucios, babe, but my favorite of all is "Loo". She's my Loo, my trusty side kick thats been with me through the thick and the thin. She has a God given confident character about her. She's a wise old soul as her grama calls it. She's never been a problem (til recently, JK, she is a pain in my butt sometimes though) and has always made me a proud mama. She's also the brain of the family (smarty pants) Don't worry, i keep her in check :) Seriously, I love my CJ, she reminds me to always reach for the best. Then theres our little Miss Gina Laryn. She's the shy little quiet one that does no wrong.....ha! So she makes everybody think anyways..... :) No, I love my Gina. She's as unique as her beautiful oarngy,auburn, blonde hair. I woundnt change a thing about her. She's a very thorough little 7yr old girl (when she does something, she does a good job at it), she's extremely bright as her sister is, she loves to joke (believe it or not) she loves to talk on the phone to her friends (not adults), she loves to dance like her mama and she loves hanging the rope all over the place and then trying to climb up it. Idono,i think she's really going to be into rock climbing when she grows up ( i hope not though, scary):) And then theres me of course, i currently am working for the school district as a teachers aide for 4th and 5th graders and i absolutely love it. I work 4 hrs a day, i have nothing to complain about. Its fun to be in the real world. I thoroughly enjoyed my season as a stay at home mommy, and now im enjoying this new season of my life. Im thankful beyond words that i was able to stay at home with my babies when they were little. So that pretty much sums up my life and my family........are you wandering what the twist was i was talking about????? Welllll........ok, i know its no surprise to anyone, but to me its like unwrapping an unexpected, undeserved gift every day of my life. The twist on this all american girl is ~JESUS~ I cant say it loud enough and i cant say it strong enough :) Without Him my life would be boring, depressed, hopeless and very very "average". I cant thank him enough for sweeping me off my feet and showing me how much i need Him and how life dosent make since without Him. He gives me the right mindset and shows me the way that leads to a fulfilled life. Do you know Him?? He's as close as the mention of His name coupled along with a sincere heart to know him and to TURN from your old ways. We need God. Who is the created to say to the creator we're perfectly fine without you, we dont need you? We have enough money, intelligence and good looks. How can we live as if there is no God? Yet this is how so many of us live. Many profess to be Christians but live and talk like the world. God is holy and is wooing His children to holiness. So if you find yourself stuck somewhere between the two roads, i encourage you, as i do myself, to lay your head in the blood stained arms of Christ and wake up to the truth that being a worldly christianity is not ok. Don't let another day go by without asking Him into your life for reals....God thought you were worth it enough to let his only Son suffer, be ridiculed and shamed JUST to give you the OPPORTUNITY to BELIEVE and have your sins taken away and be in right relationship with God. Wow...i pray you understand the love of God AND the judgment of God....without an understanding of both we're highly misinformed.
