My name is Jerry Lankenau and I'm a keyboard player from Monterrey Mexico, I'm student of Architecture and I'm also the keyboardist for "Arkham Dream" and "Aglarond", I decided to create this MySpace because, beside of these two bands I have my own music, that I want to share with you
I lived in Morelia Michoacan, for 13 years, at my 14 years I came to Monterrey and was at age of 15 when I decided to play the keyboard with a rock and metal influence, I played in different bands, were I learned to create music, my very first band was called "Karma" it was a very rocker band, then, I knew "Antaria" and I got into the band in a few days, in that time Antaria was a Power Metal band, actually they create a very unique Progressive Metal, at the same time I was playing with another band, "Extension of the Wish" with a Progressive Metal influence, by the way these bands finished their path (only Antaria remains) and I was able to star any other proyect
"Winterlands" was a band in the one I really started to grow as musician, but the band was falling slowly and now Winterlands is over, by this time I was already the keyboard player for "Aglarond" the most remarkable Doom Metal band from Mexico, by now we have recorded "Embraced by Darkness" the 3th disc of the band, and the first one with me in the line up, im still in the band with so high expectations about the new album
Days and months have passed and that's when I knew Hugo Alexandro in one of my gigs with Extension of the Wish (the last one of that band), he is the bass player from "Arkham Dream", and he told me that his band, was searching for a keyboard player, that time was when I was with Winterlands and Aglarond, but something carried me to one session with the band...
After that session I knew that I have found something important, and I joined to the band in a few weeks, Winterlands was gone, and Arkham Dream is now my ultimate band, because I found a powerful band but also, I found a family. By now my music is not yet available, because I'm still creating the set list of these proyect
Music is passion and inspiration, music is a life style and I live for the music, because there, is everything I need...
