About Me

..
Myspace Animations -Well, it's been a coupla years since I've revamped this profile, and in that time things have changed. Mostly for the better, although there have been a few bitter-sweet moments. Insidious Reflections, an authoritative voice for the indie horror press that gave me the stage I needed to build upon my writing ambitions, has since closed its doors. In its place stands Insidious Publication, a small press of quality hand made chapbooks and comics that the horror genre is lucky to have. Feel free to visit them at: www.insidiouspublications.com. I've also come to the horrific realization that my twenties are now in the past. A little sad as it's time to grow up, but that’s okay. I’m cool with all that. Jack Ketchum assures me that my thirties will be "fucking great" and so far I tend to believe him. Since IR no longer exists as a place for me to run wicked on my imagination, I've since had interviews, articles and reviews published in such places as the IR website, The Hackers Source magazine - coming soon - Rue Morgue magazine, this very blog, with many more on the way including such venues as Dark Recesses Publication, The Horror Library and Dark Scribe Magazine. I am a journalist in dark culture entertainment and if you happen to be an author, film maker, artist or other form of dark creationist, feel free to drop me a line at [email protected] and perhaps I can be your dark scribe and voice in the horror world, too. Current projects include several reviews and interviews, mostly scheduled for landing at my friend Greg Lamberson’s soon to be launched website. Details to come soon. I’m also in the midst of some big things concerning Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door movie adaptation. I’m writing a definitive article for the film’s official webpage along with a few other things up my sleeve that would mean certain death to disclose them right now. You’ll know in relatively short time though. When I have the time, there are several short stories and novella length pieces that scream my name. I like the way they sound but prefer a time when their screams become mere whispers to seduce the minds of the public masses. I also enjoy good company, fine coffees of African blend, and long walks through the dead grounds of tombstone jungle beneath a cold autumn moon. But hey, who doesn't, right? And please, no SPAM people! I hope writing that doesn't draw them in... Thanks for exploring MySpace. See you on the other side. Also brought to you by A.D.D. Films, is this damn good reason why drugs are bad, mmmmmkay?
