Get Myspace Layouts @ CodeMyLayout.comAt a very young age, Jessica Bruno knew exactly what she wanted to do: become a famous singer. Like other seven-year-old girls, Jessie sang and danced to all of her favorite songs – whether in her room, in her mother’s car, or while performing “mini concerts†for her family. When her parents realized that she had extraordinary talent, they enrolled her in acting and private singing classes. As Jessie’s love for the arts grew, she migrated to musical theatre. At ten, she enrolled in “Next Stop Broadway†– an elite performing arts school the Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Florida. While there, she expanded upon her vocal training and stage experiences, and performed for thousands in the roles of Glinda (Wizard of Oz), Barbara (Beetle Juice), and Wendy (Footloose).Simultaneously, Jessica competed in the Florida State Junior Thespians in solo, duet and ensemble singing – as well as duet acting – bringing home excellent, superior and rave reviews.Upon entering her teen years, Jessie’s love for poetry blossomed. Soon, she was setting her poetry to music – while continuing theatre training and performances. As she honed her crafts, she discovered that her passion was popular music. At 16, she met producer, engineer and BMI writer David Ruttenberg. Together, they transformed Jessie as a one-time theatrical singer, into an up and coming pop artist. In less than one year’s time, they crafted a six-track track demo CD with the intention of revealing her diversity as a singer/songwriter.Jessie’s influences range from Christina Aguilera, Etta James, Alanis Morissette and Justin Timberlake. While focusing on popular styles, she’s equally comfortable with rock, hip-hop, soul and jazz. When asked to describe her genre, Jessie intends to “treat the listener to a fun twist of various styles encompassing a broad range that nearly everyone can enjoyâ€.Currently Jessica is writing songs for her next project. She remains steadfast in her belief that an artist should always practice their craft and that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.
