Dizzla, born Jason Michael Croft, first was introduced to music at the age of 6 when he picked up his first guitar. Music being such a huge part of everyday family life (living with a music store in the house) he quickly began to pick up on things and with a few lessons from his grandparents he was on his way and pretty much self taught himself the piano and guitar. Life went on until November 23, 1993, the day that Snoop Dogg released his master piece Doggy Style. That was what got Dizzla into rap music at first and he soon realized he could use his musical abilities to great lengths and create hot bangers with the tips of his fingers. Heavily influenced by the G Funk movement of the 90’s, the young producer would sit in his room and let himself be hypnotized by the sounds and chord play of DJ Battle Cat, Fred Wreck, Dr Dre, Jelly Roll, and DJ Quick.
