Influences: Wow. Where do I begin? Truth be told, I am an equally huge fan of hard rock, power pop, rockabilly, punk, ska, britpop, jazz, blues, classical, and swing. It all rocks (one way or another). R&B/hip-hop only when actually sung and played, and country only when delivered by real storytellers. Real musicians with real songs and real chops. There's some amazing stuff out there, genre-be-damned, and if we'd actually turn off commercial radio/musicTV long enough to look for it, we might be pleasantly surprised.
