I"m a 19 year veteran Fire Fighter who retired after a wall fell on me.I love and miss being one too.I also worked as a Bouncer and DJ for 15 years and no longer do that either.I am a proud member of the Echota Cherokee Deer Clan.I love making Native American Jewelery, that I give to my friends( yes I said give...there is more value in giving than selling... a smile beats a dollar..every day).I also make Guitar Straps for my musician friends..and they are free too.I come from a musical family.So, now I'm following my musical passion.I have been writing short stories, poems and songs.I've had all three published.I have also had one of my songs "Sleeping thru the Storm" recorded in Australia on two CD's.I've sang background vocals on two CD's. One was the Muscle Shoals CD called "One Voice" that was done by about 41 artists from Muscle Shoals , after 9-11.My greatest thrill so far,was singing background vocals for Michael B Smith at the Trail of Tears concert on the Alabama Hall of Fame stage with 10,000 people in the stands.We were the front band to Marshall Tucker and Steppenwolf.It's great to get a do-over in life. Music is my first love, I'm still looking for my second.
