Surge Media- run and owned by Kym Dyson who has achieved a Diploma in Screen Studies (Film and Television) from the Adelaide Centre of Arts (Tafe SA). "From the course I discovered much interest in the areas of producing/directing and editing." Some of my major projects developed my interest in 'Corporate Videos'. I've produced Corporate videos for such respectable organisations such as 'KESAB (Keep South Australia Beautiful)' and 'Animal Liberation South Australia' and achieved quality work receiving much praise and positive comments. "I have something new, exiting different to offer this world (industry), I love expressing emotion though my work. If you have a target audience I WILL REACH them with my strong stylistic approach which is where the name Surge media came from. For those who aren’t aware Surge Media is a powerful, urban culture, epeleptic surge. I have formed 'SURGE MEDIA' and offering my services to help you, your organisation, your company, your ideas: to be created as a corporate video (amongst other projects). I have recently produced my TV series, working title (Adelaide Stories), in which we hope to air on Channell 9 or ABC, ABC2..."

This was created using nothing but pictures form the net: using programs after effects and final cut pro. This was made in approx 5 hours.

These are segments from TV series 'FIT TO GO'. I Produced/ Directed/ acted as Camera operator & edited the first one (Kite Boarding) segment.... I was 1st assistant director on the 2nd (dirt bike racing)... Then finally I played the role of camera operator on the final 2 (Rock Climbing & Muscles).

These are the gatherings I shot and directed and edited (except for the first, that one I just edited) for the W.P.F.G. (World Police & Firemans Games). I worked closely with Reporters where as a team we sculptured the story.

This was a corporate DVD made for well known and respected organisation KESAB (Keep South Australia Beautiful).It took approx 3 weeks for pre- production organisation. filmed over 3 days and edited in approx 2-3 weeks.

I Produced/ Directed & Edited this ENG (Electronic News Gathering), the topic was issued to me the day before shoot, so I had to do all the pre production (script it, shot list, shooting schedule, equipment list required, get my crew together) and had to shoot it in 2 hours the next morning, and edit in 3 hours.

In conjunction with industry professional 'Brice' on this short film 'Love You Mum' I carried out the role as audio: Boom Swinger. This Short Film was produced by: Matt Pearson and Directed by: David Ockenden. This Film went huge being nominated for MANY awards, and winig quite a few. SUCH AS: Winner Best Film: YAP Awards 2007 Winner Best Performance: YAP Awards 2007 (Bridget Walters as Nurse Evans)
