About Me

www.xanga.com/kakkoiikaeruHi everyone. It's about time I updated the "about me" section. Soooo much has changed in the past few years, an overwhelming majority of it for the better. The last time I updated this section, I was halfway through undergrad, unsure of where my future would take me. I'm now halfway through law school, unsure about where my career will take me, but very excited to find out. Starting May, I'll be a summer associate that the downtown Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins, a firm that I'm liking more and more as time goes on. After the summer, I plan on going back to my old home, London England for a semester. On that note, perhaps I should get the "where are you from?" question out of the way because people ask me and then get to hear a half-hour story. I was born in Iran. At the age of 2, my parents fled after the Islamic revolution, claiming political asylum in the United Kingdom. We lived there for 11 years. I went to Rokeby Middle School for primary school, and Kings College School for one semester before we moved to the United States at the age of 13. I've been here ever since.Wow, all that took 23 years! Who knows where I'll end up in a few years...Los Angeles is the current destination, but that is hopefully just the beginning of a good legal career. And if fate is good to me, perhaps I'll even be able to start singing again...but that is a story for when you email me to say hi :p

My Interests

Singing, piano, working out, and *sigh* computer games

I'd like to meet:

I just want to make friends, I don't care where you are :) I'm going to be bouncing between SF and LA for another year, so if you're anywhere near me and would like to hang out, feel free to send an email, I like everybody.

Books:

The Sound and the Fury. If you know me well enough, you'll know why that's funny.

Heroes:

My best friend Erica. She is one of the most selfless people who has ever existed. I wish I had the ability to give to other people as much as she does.
