I have been told I am a cool chick who is interesting, to say the least. I love to travel (and I don't mean going to Atlantic City or the Poconos...I'm talking about getting on a plane and leaving the country..lol). I've been all around the world and I'm still not done. I like to read books like they're going out of style. I like to chill in the library or the local bookstore. I'm not just another pretty chick. I have brains, too...LOL. I was a double major in college and have my master's degree in forensic psychology so that should say it all. I love kids but don't have any right now. I am a fabulous aunt and godmother, though. ;)
My passions are chocolate, handbags, Audrey Hepburn, Hello Kitty, penguins, Winnie The Pooh, people who make me laugh, comic books, thrift shops or little unique shops, and the ocean. I am a big Knicks and Mets fan, sorry Yankees! I live in your borough but I will forever be a Queens girl rooting for the Mets. I also love old Shaw Brothers kung fu flicks, old school rap and hip hop, 80's music and movies, and seeing women in lead action roles like Sigourney Weaver in Alien/Aliens, Linda Hamilton in The Terminator, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill 1/2, and Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil, to name a few. It's so empowering to see women doing it for themselves.
My happiness is pretty important to me so I live my life the way I want and don't really pay attention to what others think or say. I manage to smile and laugh on a daily basis so I guess I am doing something right. I embrace my uniqueness and work with what I got. It has worked for me thus far.
I'm a big girl, BBW, whatever the euphemism is. I'm pretty comfortable in my skin and am not short on confidence. You have to love yourself first before you can expect anyone to see how amazing you are and love you. If you don't believe it, how can you expect others to? Big girls unite! :)
