The Heartdrops nostalgia of “77 greaser punk” took a reflection towards The Dead Boys and The Ramones upon their 1995 debut EP with “The Morning Shakes”.
Following two additional seven-inches on Break Up and Magadee Records in 1997, the band was categorized amongst other vintage punk acts such as The Candy Snatchers and The L.E.S. Stitches before Melted Records released their first full-length “This Is The Heartdrops” in 1998.
The next year, The Heartdrops put out their follow-up album “East Side Drive” on Melted as well. The Heartdrops toured the U.S. extensively, the longest tour lasting nine weeks. They also toured Europe in 1999 and had their second full length licensed and released in Germany. The Heartdrops had the pleasure of touring and doing shows with such acts as The Gotohells, The Nobodys, The Donnas, Marky, Dee Dee and Joey Ramone, The Teen Idols, Boris The Sprinkler, Nashville Pussy, The Candy Snatchers, The Humpers, Bleed, S.C.O.T.S and The Turbo A.C.'s....Check out the friends page to see what the members are up to today!
