Xerete our names are Nikolaos Stamas and Strati Papageorgiou we started this page to bring awareness to the Hellenes and non-Hellenes alike, in the early 20th century the Turks began a Genocide that was second only to the Jewish Holocaust. Unfortunately the Hellenic people along with their Armenian and Assyrian brothers have no reparation, no apology, not even recognition by the UN, EU or United States. The Armenian question has been raised once or twice with no real success in the U.N Human Rights debates, but the Pontian/Ionian Greek people aren’t even taking into question on the barley known Tragedy. This Myspace is in Dedication to the to the - The Armenian Genocide (about 2.000.000 -2.5 persons massacred)- The Assyrian Genocide (at least 750.000 persons massacred) - The Hellenic (Greek) Genocide (about 1.750.000-2 million persons massacred) as well as to bring awareness to people weather they are Greek or not, it was worse then Darfur yet few knew about it back then and because of Turkey’s Strategic position in the Middle east no one knows about it now.
