Ow do! Ive been writing since 1999, been writing ANY since 2002, luckly i did'nt have to find the graffiti scene, it found me at a young age. I new alot of people who was into graff and i used to sit by at track sides and watch the painters do there thing whilst getting fucked on whitestar and tennents (big up whitestar) and funny anove all my jobs ive worked with prolific writers, i got caught on my first sprees of hitting the streets and tryed to stop...... we all know how hard it is to stop drinking/smoking/bombing...a strong addiction led me to carry on. I was still young and stupid at this point.
Someone who really inspired me was a bloke who wrote ..DELF TFSR.., Massive shout out to him, at the time i didnt realise how much he inspired me to write, i think alot of writers respect people who've been there and done it, and i suppose this comes with age. You get to a point where the younger generation are up and coming and you realise you was one of the kids wanting a page signed, or just to say you've seen there work. I found it really important that i could speak to these types of artist to understand things a little more. After all, graffiti is a puzzle of combinations of letters, numbers, crews, messagers ETC.
I'd like to say i give alot of time for the younger artists, even if they do make mistakes from time to time. Im very approuchable despite my chavish looks. After i moved on from work again i met ..ONZE SB2.. (shout out for the music) who used to be byside ..IZAL.. who have put alot of work into the scene, theres still artists like ..SPAKS.. destroying the city night after night which really amazers me, the same with ..DET.. and many others that made me think it is possible to be famous, to be idlised, and not to forget, to be HATED. When i moved on from that i met ..WEST.. and ..SHER SF.. alongside ..RYME SF USM.. (R.I.P MATT ONER 007). Storeys and storeys flooded out, my brain soaked this like a sponge to water... I FUCKIN LOVE IT. Then i got to hook up with AME72, i was like ..FUCK.., I saw aload of his stuff from up my way, on tracksides near dronfield and throwups ETC. His styles was pure rythme, silent poetry at its best. He informed me from time to time when he was painting and where and used to sit back and watch.
I was now getting into doing peicers, mainly my usual dub styles but with different fills and fades, ive always loved my cromes and put alot of work into quick throw ups, stick and one liners.
A lad who wrote ..MAIZE KSA.. got me really deep into the bombing scene of things, from scribes, stickers, paint, markers, paintpens, shoe polish... He was schooled up to fuck, we buzzed highly off the MCA crew, which was ..SKEMS.. ..VOTE.. ..JERK.. ..MELT.. and later on we started to notice ..AWOL... Then the scene started to rise, not with pure talent, but with more writers, then aload of oldschoolers used to pop back and write from time to time. Now im hooked, fucking hooked, these lads FORM and SHEKZ come out of no where, really hit up hard... all the new starters never saw anything like this at the time ( round about 05-06 ) Only if they saw the NG spree they wouldnt be calling FORM the bombing master, alot of SK got buffed, but theres still a load scattered about sheffield lines and city. Big shout out to that crew.In 2003 i started writing AD with ANGEL and RATIE, ANGEL really got me into the productions of graffiti and we used to go to safer spots to paint...which gave us more time and better results. I buzzed of these days and it really fueled me into every seen of graffiti art. Graffiti is a never ending race, its all about just being part of it. Being known or not is not a massive concern of mine, i just enjoy writing, from stupid comments to commissions, just having a laugh and creating is the biggest buzz i could wish for.I never thought i'd meet so many people, anover thing with graffiti artists is you always remember there face, because they mean something to you, its not like meeting a random slag and forgeting them the day after. (which we've all done). Just painting with people makes you feel complete, united, it makes sense of why you go to work, why you sketch and why you love coloured finger nails. So basically i got into production side of things from ANGEL who is incredibley dedicated to back grounds and the image left on the wall. Everytime i paint with that kid its laughs and jokes, dissing and spitting at one another. But under the skin where a married gay couple. MAIZE got me into having sick handstyles, his letterings was very unique, i was toy as fuck at handstyles but he inspired me to keep at it and not to be afraid in changing letters. So MAIZE really got me into graffiti highly, bombing and finding spots. Im abit of a loner at the moment, i paint with my original crews but alot are either in prison or have stoped with familys, drug problems ETC...So i float from place to place with othier writers, im always up for painting with different styles. Thats what keeps me going, the hole mutual feeling of creation. So thankfully ive met a shit loads of writers with different aspects of the word ..graffiti.., and i beleave i shall meet many more. Thanks for reading.Id like to give a shout out to the ladz and lasserz repersenting Yorkshire.....MAIZE ANGEL SHAPE PEST RATIE CHASE AME CROME DUG SIE RYME KOST JUSTB KORE KAME FISH SHER WEST PROAN DELF ONZE IZAL EDNA JAER FARSE ZON FIVE MICK SNIPERZ ALCIT BUM P-RIK SECT SKEMZ TEMEL JERK VOTE AWOL DAM SPAKZ DET JELY ESPRE DEAF DES BITE ROTA ERA PRYME REPLETE SUNE CRIE ROCKET JEMZ KAME DIAL ASK PISE MIGS REK RISE INTO DIDI IFOR RACK BERN PAUN EFIT CASPER TOAST DENT NERO KOMP IKON DUSK DUDEL FAZE SOME MIST PEN AJAX DEALT EKCA GASTRO DOMINOE TEKZ DIOR IRON HAE FORM SHEKZRIP ONER OO7 WSK USM SFStay up!...FREE MAIZER!ANYONE AD SF WSK KSAWWW.YORKSHIREJUNKIES.CO.UKPieces
